Day 1
Fes → Chefchaouen
Drive north through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Afternoon exploring the iconic blue-washed medina and Uta el-Hammam square. Overnight in a Chefchaouen riad.
Day 2
Full Day Chefchaouen
Full day at leisure in the Blue City — explore the mountain trails (Ras el-Maa waterfall, Spanish mosque viewpoint), the souks and hidden corners of the medina. 2nd night in Chefchaouen.
Day 3
Chefchaouen → Meknes → Volubilis → Midelt
Drive south. Visit Meknes (Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum) and Roman Volubilis UNESCO ruins. Continue to Midelt. Overnight in the Middle Atlas.
Day 4
Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Scenic drive through Ziz Gorge and the Tafilalt palm oasis. Arrive Merzouga. Sunset camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Berber dinner and music at luxury camp. 1st Sahara night.
Day 5
Full Sahara Day — Merzouga
5am Sahara sunrise. Berber breakfast. Sandboarding, 4×4 excursion, nomad family visit, Berber music. Afternoon relaxation. 2nd night under the Milky Way.
Day 6
Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley
Sunrise camel ride. Drive the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Todra Gorge (300m walls). Valley of Roses. Overnight in a Dades Valley lodge.
Day 7
Dades → Ait Benhaddou → Marrakech
Drive through Ouarzazate. Guided visit of Ait Benhaddou UNESCO kasbah. Cross High Atlas via Tichka Pass (2,260m). Arrive Marrakech — overnight in Medina riad.
Day 8
Full Guided Marrakech Day
Expert-guided Marrakech: Jemaa el-Fna, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Majorelle Garden, Mellah and the souks. Evening free in the medina. End of tour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chefchaouen has wonderful hiking around the Rif mountains. The Spanish Mosque viewpoint is a 30-min walk and offers the most photographed view of the Blue City. The Ras el-Maa waterfall (10-min walk) is also beautiful. In the medina: explore the souks, the Kasbah museum and the dyeing quarter.
